Snacking Isn't The Problem. Your Snack Choices Are.

One of the biggest challenges I see when people are trying to lose weight is snacking.

After a few days of restrictive dieting, they're hungry, tired, and looking for something quick. That usually means reaching for chocolate, crisps, biscuits, or energy drinks. The problem isn't just the calories.

It's that these foods tend to leave you hungry again a couple of hours later, so the cycle simply repeats itself.

The good news is that snacking doesn't have to ruin your weight loss efforts.

A much better approach is choosing foods that keep you fuller for longer by focusing on protein and healthy fats. One of my favourite examples is homemade chicken and cheese bites.

They're simple to make, high in protein, low in carbohydrates, and help keep appetite under control without feeling like you're on a diet.

That's it.

When your snacks keep you satisfied for longer, you're less likely to keep grazing throughout the day, your energy levels stay more stable, and sticking to your goals becomes much easier.
