⚖️ SETTING EXPECTATIONS 📈
Despite wanting a linear journey, the reality is that there will be peaks and troughs. Life will continually throw curve balls and it’s how we respond to them.
🌟 Here’s a snippet into Cery’s journey working with me:
“I started working with Jack in July after struggling with a stubborn shoulder injury for 15 months. Jacks background in injury rehabilitation has been incredible in helping me return to sport and stay motivated during a difficult time in training. Before even putting a barbell overhead or going on the rig we spent months gradually building strength and confidence overhead with so many creative and progressive exercises. Without Jack I definitely would’ve tried to progress too soon and ended up back at square one.
Jack had his work cut out with me constantly having to tailor my training at times when I’ve had niggles or received treatment on my shoulder, whilst also trying to keep training interesting and moving in the right direction, but he’s been absolutely amazing. He would always be at the end of the phone if I had any questions or to put up with me ranting about training.
When Jack gave me a sales pitch 7 months ago saying he could be the one to get me back to sport I had some reservation, but I was so wrong. We’ve come so far and I’m back doing movements I thought I’d never be able to do again pain-free and my love for training is back.
If anyone is struggling with getting back to sport after an injury, or just wants a great coach and mentor, Jack is your guy”.
