Topsham St James Cricket Club A friendly, community-based cricket club in Topsham, Devon. Tidball Insurance T20 Champions 2019.

We have 2 Adult Men's teams, a Women's team and a large Colts section with 150 children from Year 2 age upwards.

Not the weekend we wanted this week as both teams lose.

beat our 1st team by 3 wickets.

beat our 2nd team by 4 wickets

There was some good coming from the weekend as Ross Treleaven took his first 5fer of the season for the firsts
and Howard Smalley hit a resilient 69 for the 2nd team on a very tough wicket for batsmen

Here's your Saints squads playing tomorrow
The 1st XI host as we see a return of our Cricket, Tea and Cakes event so come on down and enjoy some delicious cakes alongside a fantastic game of cricket!

The 2nd XI travel to in what promises to be a feisty match as the local rivals take on each other for some crucial points at the top end of the table!

Join us as our 1st XI T20 team take on at home tomorrow.

Spiller Wealth Management Ltd are hosting one of their 5 O'Clock club events so the atomsphere will be electric. The Globe, Topsham are also running the bar tomorrow with the match also being live streamed so there is no excuse not to watch the match!

Both U10's and U15's had some cracking matches and some promising performances, even in defeat our U15's showed some fantastic grit to take Teignmouth and Shaldon to just 6 runs at the end of their 20 overs

This week at Topsham St James we have plenty going on!

If you're in the area, come on down on Thursday and Saturday for our adult matchday! The bar will be open serving cold drinks while the cricket is on as Thursday sees the return of our coloured kit as our 1st XI take on Chagford in the Ivor Dewdney Corinthian Cup. Before league cricket returns on Saturday for both adults teams.

Along side this we have plenty of junior matches too so plenty for all the cricketing family!

We would also like to say a big thank you to our Livestream Sponsors. Without their contributions, the club wouldn't be able to stream our matches to Youtube, We decided to trial this last year and it has been a big hit with our socials accounts!

How On Earth Are Exeters first plant based deli. They are based on south street and well worth checking out. How on earth are a family run business that make the best plant based food which are a joy for several of our players that have them for their teas each week!

The Butchers at Topsham are a multi award winning butchers based on Topsham high street, another local business that provides excellent support to the club, providing all the meat for our BBQs and club days. Sam and the team have quickly become a staple at TSJCC

is a family friendly, fun day out in Westcott just outside of Cullompton. If you can kick a ball, the team can teach you to play footgolf. Not only this but they have entertainment for all the family including your pooches. It is a 9 hole course from challenging par 3s to long par 5s to cater to all abilities.

CLUB SPONSOR ANNOUNCEMENT

As many of you will have already seen earlier this year, The Globe, Topsham have come on board as official club sponsor for the 2026 season.

You will find many of the adult team sat in the beer garden on a Saturday evening discussing all things cricket!

The Globe is a family friendly pub, doing great food and great beer. They welcome dogs, so long as the owner is well behaved and are a great place for all the family.
