Cadence Monday night series🎣🎣

Last Monday we fished the last round of the Cadence night series! It’s fished really well with lots of fish being caught on the pole and maggot feeder!

Juniors:
1st - Jacob Lees (7lb 10oz)
2nd - Kyran Johnson (3lb 15oz)
3rd - Zak Brotherton (3lb 8oz)

A big well done to all who fished, especially Jacob who caught cracking net of big perch off peg 15!

The overall results have now been calculated and it has been a very tight match with 2 people tying on points for second place, this means that the cumulated weight has been worked out. Note that the best 6 out of 8 matches are used for the overall results.

Overall Results:
1st - Kyran Johnson (143 points)
2nd - Chaz Drinkwater (140 points - 21lb 9oz)
3rd - Zak Brotherton (140 points - 20lb 0oz 12drams)

As you can see it has been incredibly close, with just half a pound separating second and third place and just 3 points to first place!! A big well done to Kyran for winning the Cadence Monday night series💪🏻

Cadence Monday night series🎣🎣

On Monday we fished the first round of the Cadence night series held at the crown meadow in Evesham on the River Avon! It’s fished really well with lots of fish being caught on maggots and casters, both on the pole short and a waggler to the far bank!

Juniors:
1st - Lottie Wooten (11lb)
2nd - Jacob Lees (4lb 14oz)
3rd - Zak Brotherton (3lb 3oz)

A big well done to all who fished, especially Lottie who caught cracking net of chub caught on the waggler with casters!

Cadence Monday Night Series🎣🎣

The new season is soon to start and so we will be running our Cadence Fishing UK backed Monday night series for all junior anglers!

This will be a series of 8 matches starting from the 20th June to the 8th August. We will fish each round on the EDAA stretch of the River Avon in Evesham. We meet in the Crown Meadow (roughly behind peg 15) in Evesham at 5pm, aiming to fish from 6-9pm!

Manor farm leisure🤩

On Saturday the evesham youth a/c fished a match at manor farm leisure on island pool. It was a very tricky day as the carp didn’t really want to feed but the 8 juniors and 2 intermediates all had a great days fishing with lots of big skimmers being caught with some bonus carp being caught later on in the match!

The Evesham Youth are fishing a match at manor farm leisure this Saturday 16th on Windmill pool!! All are welcome to fish but we do need to know number so please message or comment to book on!

Hillview Fishery 🎣

On Saturday the Evesham Youth club fished a match at hill view, we put the juniors on canal 3 and intermediates on canal 4 which both fished brilliantly!

Lots of fish were caught on a variety of baits, maggots proved good for smaller fish with the better f1’s and carp to be caught on meat, corn and expanders!

Manor Farm Leisure

On Saturday the Evesham Youth fished a match at manor farm on middle pool, a good turn out but plenty of space on the lake meant we had lots of room making a brilliant and close match!! Most caught on pellets or meat with some skimmers to be caught on maggots.

This Saturday the evesham youth will be holding a match on the river Avon in evesham at the common road stretch! We will be doing a 9am draw in the car park so get there before 8:40 to register! Prize and bottle match🎣

On Saturday we fished the annual prize and bottle match, kindly sponsored by Manor Angling who donated lots of great prizes for the youths who fished!! With 10 juniors and 10 adults fishing we spread everyone out on boundary pool at manor farm leisure, with the youths having a normal match but adults having a silverfish only! The fishing was tricky but there was plenty of bites for those who worked out how the fish were feeding🎣

3rd - Jack Martin (26lb 14oz)

1st - Harry Brockie (15lb)

A big well done to all who fished, as you can see it was two very close matches! We raised a nice £67 from the raffle so thank you very much to all who participated! Once again a big thanks to Howard at Manor Angling for the donations to the youths!

Prize and bottle match🎣

On Saturday 18th December the youth club are holding their annual prize and bottle match! All juniors fishing will receive a goody bag from the club and we will also be holding a raffle after the match for all to attend! If you’d like to donate the raffle then please bring anything!

We’re fishing on Boundary pool, draw at 8:30 fishing 10-3pm. If you’d like to fish then please let us know by today so we can arrange the prizes🥳

On behalf of the Sensas Smithy’s Evesham youth angling club I would like to give a massive thank you to the family of Mr David Bannister for donating a large sum of money to the club!

David was a customer of Alcester Sports Tackle shop but sadly passed away earlier this year. Their family wanted to donate some money to a local fishing club, so it was agreed with Alan (the owner of the tackle shop) to kindly donate the money to us! We will be using this kind donation for the junior national practise in the summer🎣

Manor farm leisure🎣🎣

On Saturday the Evesham youth fished a match on boundary pool at Manor Farm Leisure! 9 juniors competed catching loads of fish on various different methods!

Juniors:
1st - Jacob Lees (90lb)
2nd - Kyran Johnson (56lb 8oz)
3rd - Jack Martin (51lb)

Intermediates:
1st - Dan Chalk (12lb)
