Ballet classes are now ready to start from next week, so please message me to reserve yourself a space! Here’s what next week will look like:

Monday- @ Steeple Village Hall

9:15-9:45- Beginners Ballet Conditioning

9:50-10:50- Beginners Ballet Class

10:55-11:25 intermediate Ballet Conditioning

11:30-12:30- Intermediate Ballet Class

Tuesday @ Champions Manor Hall

10:00-10:30- All Level Ballet conditioning

10:30-11:30 - All Level Ballet Class

Wednesday @ Steeple Village Hall

4:30-5:00- All level Ballet conditioning

5:00-6:00 - All Level Ballet Class

So impressed with these lovely ladies today and look at those beautiful ‘retiré’ positions!!

Here you can see how we use the turnout from the hips on both the top leg ( working leg ) and the bottom leg ( supporting leg ), this will later help with pirouettes and a variety of jumps when we start our ballet classes next week 🩰

Why Ballet Conditioning?

🩰Improves memory and co-ordination

🩰Improves strength, balance and endurance in a safe/progressive way

🩰Helps you easily find those hard to reach muscles you’ll need to use during your ballet class

🩰Helps you find the correct alignment of the body and pelvis which later prevents injury.

Here’s a video of me demonstrating one of the exercises we did in class this week. This exercise focuses mainly on the improvement of turnout, rotating the leg from the hip whilst trying to keep the pelvis straight. This one is great for those who are looking to improve their range of motion and hip flexibility.

I’m holding ballet conditioning classes every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday!
