Tumble Tots programmes are carefully structured to develop your child’s physical skills, self-confidence and self-esteem.... but ultimately it’s all about having FUN!! Tumble Tots is Britain’s leading Active Physical Play Programme and winner of Tommy’s Best Activity for Children 2014. Classes are open in EWELL, NORTH CHEAM, SUTTON, RAYNES PARK and EPSOM during term time, and we do PARTIES!! Launched in 1979 by an ex-national Olympic Gymnastics Coach, Tumble Tots is designed to develop your child’s skills of agility, balance, co-ordination and climbing while at the same time encouraging his sense of self-confidence and self-esteem. The programme is carefully structured in five groups according to your child’s age and stage of development. Tumble Tots – six months to walking
With help from parents, babies are encouraged to use all their senses gently and without pressure: playing, exploring, crawling and learning together in a happy, relaxed atmosphere. Tumble Tots – walking to two years
Toddlers can explore a wide variety of movement experience through free play. With help from their parents, they make their first attempt at rolling, climbing and jumping. Tumble Tots – two to three years
Now children are using more challenging equipment, but there’s still lots of input from parents. Children are now introduced to the concept of Tumble Tots "activity stations" which form the basis for a range of activities to develop skills of agility, balance, co-ordination and climbing. More challenging task sequences encourage children’s co-ordination, body awareness and controlled body movements while developing self-confidence and self-esteem. Children are well prepared for their school years ahead. Runs on: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays Thursdays, Fridays

Thursdays: Epsom Methodist Church (next To Ashley Centre Car Park), Epsom, KT18 5AQ
Fridays: Elmcroft Community Centre, 570 London Rd, North Cheam, Sutton SM3 9AB

Why is the equipment the same as last week?
It isn't laziness. Every Tumble Tots lesson plan runs for two weeks.
Week one, a child learns the setup. Week two, they build on it.
That's the whole point. A child who already knows what's coming next isn't spending the session working out the room. They're spending it trying something harder than they managed a week ago.
Then it changes, and they start again.

Why do we say to hold the back of their t-shirts when our Tumble Tots are balancing?

Holding their hands—especially overhead—can interfere with their natural ability to develop balance, alter their posture, and create a false sense of security.

When we support a child by the hands, the child’s center of gravity shifts, it can cause them to lean forward, rather than engaging their own muscles.

Supporting your little one by holding their t-shirt rather than their hands will make a massive difference and you will see them develop their balance and confidence in class in a very short time 💛💛

Every movement gives children an opportunity to practise skills, solve little challenges and discover what their bodies can do.
At Tumble Tots, our sessions are carefully structured so children can build these skills through movement, repetition and exploration, while having plenty of fun along the way.
