We’re so proud Epsom Oddballs Running Club to be able to say the Nonsuch Runners of the Year 2026 are two Epsom Oddballs Running Club Club Runners, Jan & Sarah Spencer! 🎉👏
On Saturday Nonsuch Parkrun celebrated their 15th Birthday and every year on their Birthday they
announce and present their “Runner of the Year” award. In the past 12 months 9775 unique runners
have ran at Nonsuch as as such to stand out as the Runner of the Year is quite some achievement.
It gives us immense pride to say that this year’s joint winners are two of our very own Oddballs and
those of you that know them will surely agree they are very worthy winners.
Straight from Nonsuch parkrun themselves:
“Apart from the fact they bribe us with their home laid eggs……
Jan and Sarah have become an integral part of Nonsuch parkrun Core Team and bring with them a real
vitality and energy which to some of us old timers is really refreshing. Both Jan & Sarah are the type of
people who don’t wait to be asked to do something as they habe already done it and a lot more besides.
A great addition to the team”
Their parkrun stats for this year include:
Jan – 33 parkruns with 5 PBS and 37 volunteer credits
Sarah – 23 parkruns with 5 PBS and 33 volunteer credits
