3 years ago today, I taught my very first public class at Bodhi Eden.

Sunrise Yoga 🌅

There were 2 people there.

Two willing participants who put their trust in me, my dream + what we’d built.

And yes, this morning was supposed to start with Sunrise Yoga again. It didn’t quite go to plan this time - but perhaps that’s business. There are highs, lows, fully booked classes, quiet classes, big wins + days when you have to remind yourself just how far you’ve come.

So today, I’m choosing to focus on the BIG picture.

We made it to 3. ❤️

And apparently, many small businesses don’t make it this far. So I’m going to celebrate the heck out of it!

Someone said to me right at the beginning:

“Just get to 3 years… then it should start to make sense.”

Well, we made it.

3 years of building, learning, changing, growing, laughing, crying, figuring it out as I go + meeting some of the most wonderful people along the way.

3 years. I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve created.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of the Bodhi Eden story so far. Here’s to the next chapter🥂✨

And quietly, acknowledging that today also marks 25 years since 9/11. Thinking of all those who lost their lives + the families + communities forever changed by that day.🕊️

Three years ago, we first opened the doors to Bodhi Eden on Waterloo Road! 🚪✨

3 months of solid graft, big dreams, paint-covered hands, a LOT of hard work + somehow… we turned an idea into a reality.

What started as a dream has grown into a beautiful Community, an incredible team + a space that has evolved far beyond what I could have imagined.

And now look at us…🥹

From those first days on Waterloo Road to our not-so-new home on the High Street - look how far we’ve come 🤍

Thank you to every single person who has stepped through our doors, rolled out a mat, shared a cuppa, come to an event, taught a class, helped behind the scenes or simply believed in Bodhi Eden.

Here’s to 3 years of BE-ing… + everything still to come 🥂 Join us on Friday to celebrate, but please RSVP!
