Important Notices!:

From 1st September some Epping Forest Cows will be holidaying at Harold's Park Wildland.

The pigs will follow and desensitation sessions in the new pen (behind the bungalows) are being set up 9th-12th September.

Update; Aimes Green Bridleway between Lake St John to back of Harolds Park Farm:

COL are requesting a change of gate from a stepover gate to a Bridleway gate.
Are there any concerns with local riders who use this route to this change?

Please let me know by Friday 21st August. COL are keen to order the gates to install them before autumn/winter.

WATER OUTAGE IN CHIGWELL AND HAINUALT AREAS:
Due to the burst water pipes in these areas some of the local horse yards have been left without water. (AND sure kennels and catteries too).
If any of the yards would like people to drop off water, please message below.

Safety Riding on Roads around Epping Forest:

I've been on the phone with one of the new local councillors, Cllr Annie-May and she is passionate about out Safety issues riding on the roads around the forest. She is going to push for a meeting of all the local councillors and push for a motion for the safety measures that EFRA have identified to be actioned upon. (Amongst others).
In order to help, we need everyone who has ever had an incident or issue on any of the surrounding roads, whilst riding, leading or driving horse, to be written in an email to the councillor so she can produce a dossier of evidence of what we are experiencing on the road. (Doesn't matter if got on camera or not).

Please can you email Cllr Annie-May on email below with the subject header being 'Safety Issues for Equestrians'.

We're hoping to push the meeting for September so please email in as soon as can so that can all be collated before the meeting.

This is our time to push what I know all equestrian in the area have been having issues with. Please make the most of it.
