🌿🪶🪾🍁What a fantastic day in Lough Navar Forest with the students from St Joseph's College! 🌿

We got stuck into river studies - looking at flow, water quality and what lives beneath the surface. The river was alive and the lads were brilliant, hands in, asking great questions.🪲🍂

As always, Lough Navar didn't disappoint. We spotted plenty of wildlife signs along the way, talked through the native plants and trees, and finished up with fungi ID - loads to see after the recent rain. A perfect classroom with no walls.🪾🌿

Huge thanks to the staff and students from St Joseph's - top group, great energy and respect for the woods. Hope to see you all out again soon!

🌿🏕What a start to September! 🍂🌿

5 incredible birthday parties, 3 amazing Forest School sessions, a few planning meetings, and we were honoured to attend the Community Champion Awards night.🎉🎉

🌿🪶It's been busy, muddy, full of laughter, campfires and connection - and it doesn't look like it's slowing down any time soon!🏹🌼

This is the life of a Forest School practitioner, and honestly, we wouldn't have it any other way.

🌿🛶A huge thank you to every child, parent, teacher and community member who has supported Oakwood Bushcraft & Forest School so far this month. Your energy and enthusiasm is what makes it all worthwhile.🪶🛶

🌿🔥 **A Morning of Adventure, Teamwork & Bushcraft! 🏹**

What a fantastic morning our **Enniskillen Gaels P4/5 Football Team** had with the wonderful team at **Oakwood Bushcraft**! 👏

The boys and girls swapped the football pitch for the great outdoors and got stuck into a brilliant morning of **bushcraft, adventure and teamwork**.

From learning the skills of **archery 🏹** and mastering the art of **firelighting 🔥**, to working together to build **shelters 🏕️** and even trying their hand at **campfire cooking 🍳**, there was something for everyone.

The session was a fantastic opportunity for the players to develop skills that go far beyond sport — **communication, cooperation, problem-solving, resilience, confidence and leadership** — all while having great fun together.

There were plenty of challenges, plenty of laughs and, of course, a few competitive moments along the way! 😄 Most importantly, it was a brilliant chance for the team to spend time together, build friendships and create memories away from the football pitch.

A **huge thank you to Oakwood Bushcraft** for hosting such an engaging and memorable experience. Your enthusiasm, knowledge and encouragement made it a morning the children won’t forget. 👏🌲

And to our P4/5 players — well done! You embraced every challenge, supported each other and showed exactly what **teamwork** is all about. 💚💛
