Garden realities!
Not everyone will understand a garden grown for nature.
Some people will see w**ds creeping through my paths. I see plantain, dandelion and clover, the hedge is full of bindw**d, every crack is full of daisies, thyme, dandelions and buttercupโplants that feed pollinators, nourish the soil and have been used in traditional remedies for generations.
A wildlife-friendly garden isn't about neglect; it's about intention. It means choosing not to use w**d killers or chemical fertilisers, and that actually creates more work, not less. Keeping flower borders healthy while allowing nature to find its place takes time, patience and plenty of hard graft.
My garden isn't meant to be perfect. It's meant to be alive.
Every bee that lands on a flower, every bird that finds food, every butterfly that visits reminds me why it's worth it. I'd rather have a garden full of life than one that's perfectly manicured but silent.
Nature doesn't ask for perfection. It simply asks for a little space to thrive.
