We can provide a full day shooting experience for up to 12 people with 6 people shooting and 6 people loading, then the teams swap over. We can take individual or group bookings for up to 12 people. We aim to provide our shoots to intermed

iate and above skill level of shots as there can be some tricky targets, including fast and slow incomers, and left/right hand crossers. These are thrown from our Bowman oscillating game trailers, which will provide plenty of clays over the whole of the line of guns, so nobody is on a slow peg and misses the action! With between 2100 – 2600 clays per day, we recommend around 250 cartridges for the day, but it’s completely up to you how you want to treat the day as there’s no pressure to shoot every clay presented. We would also recommend using a light load, 21g or 24g in sizes 7-8s would be ideal as you will be shooting more cartridges than on a live game shoot, and they will be easier on the shoulder. Fibre-wad cartridges are also mandatory, as the land is still grazed. Our simulated shoots are not only aimed at game shooters who want to brush up on their techniques, and blow the cobwebs off before, and maybe even during the game seasons. But also, to people who want a fun day out shooting and socialising, or those that want to experience a game shoot, but don’t want to shoot at live quarry, we can cater for all. We have a standard set of drives, but can accommodate for a particular group needs, and for different weather conditions.

We had a fantastic shoot today for a special 40th birthday celebration, with a great crew. Started off with each man shooting 50 bird sporting, followed by 50 bird flush, then ending up with 50 bird incomers, a great display of double gunning aswell! We would like to wish Trevor Dunn a great birthday, you were a great sport, and the other fellows were pretty good aswell, thank you!
