Well done to everyone named in our latest Team of the Week, following our three fixtures last weekend!

Although we didn't get the results we wanted in the Herts Cricket League on Saturday, there were still some impressive performances, in addition to some standout displays for our Friendly XI against South Loughton on Sunday!

As mentioned earlier in the week, Garry Orton also reached the unbelievable milestone of 1,000 appearances for North Enfield, so well done once again to him!

On a similar note, David Malleson played his 550th game for the club on Sunday, with Matt Hodgins picking up his first dismissal in our 2s' defeat to Cheshunt Rosedale Cricket Club on Saturday!

Well done to everyone named in our Team of the Week and to the aforementioned individuals for their respective milestones!

💚💛 Green and Gold Player of the Weekend! 💚💛

Congratulations to our latest Green and Gold Player of the Weekend - Del Sanders!

Del bowled an outstanding 10 over spell for our 1s against Lutonian on Saturday, claiming 4 - 24 and giving us an excellent start with the ball!

His four wickets also saw him pick up 72 points in our Fantasy League!

Well bowled Del and thanks once again to the Green and Gold Garden Company for sponsoring this award!

We held our Quiz Night on Saturday at Strayfield Road!

It was a very enjoyable night and great to see so many people either stay up after our 1s' fixture or come up especially!

Thank you to Abbie Jones for organising the event and to Phil Jones for helping as well!

Well done to everyone who took part, but especially to the Hockey Hooligans, who were the winners on the night!

Following on from the previous post about Garry's 1,000th appearance for the club, here is former chairman David Malleson's speech, as he presents Garry with a special, commemorative cap!

There's also the video of Garry receiving a Guard of Honour from the Cheshunt Rosedale Cricket Club players, so thanks once again to them for that!

Congratulations to Garry Orton, who made his 1,000th appearance for North Enfield on Saturday!

Garry made his first appearance for the club in 1988 and is currently our leading run-scorer with 22,713 runs!

In addition to his runs and nine centuries, Garry also has the 12th most wickets for the club with 658 and 6th most dismissals with 345!

Everyone at the club would like to congratulate Garry for this incredible achievement and thank him for his many years of service at Strayfield Road!

Thank you to Andy Pearson for organising Garry's commemorative cap and card, as well as to former chairman David Malleson for his speech!

Thanks also to Abbie Jones for making a cake to make the occasion and to Saturday's opponents Cheshunt Rosedale Cricket Club for giving Garry a Guard of Honour (this video will follow)!

Well done once again Garry - hopefully, there are many more appearances still to come!

After a mixed weekend this time around, we'll be looking to go again as we enter the second half of June!

From a senior perspective, there will be training on Thursday, before our league sides return to Herts Cricket League action!

Both our 1s and 2s will be looking to bounce back, against Boxmoor and Broxbourne Cricket Club respectively!

The weekend will then conclude with the visit of Mandarins to Strayfield Road on Sunday!

There are also four fixtures for our respective junior sides across the course of the week, in addition to training on Wednesday!

Our U12s face a brace of away trips, with the first being to Old Owens Cricket Club this evening, before the second to Bishop's Stortford on Friday night!

Sandwiched in between these two fixtures are our U15's visit to Harpenden Cricket Club tomorrow, with our U10s taking on Enfield Cricket Club at Strayfield Road on Thursday!

Hopefully, this week will be a more enjoyable one, with better results on the pitch!

It was a weekend of two halves at Strayfield Road, with a couple of frustrating results on Saturday, before a dramatic victory over South Loughton on Sunday!

Despite a strong showing with the ball and in the field, our 1s lost out to Lutonian by 32 runs in Division 4B of the Herts Cricket League at Strayfield Road!

Meanwhile, our 2s suffered a nine wicket defeat to Cheshunt Rosedale Cricket Club in Division 10 East, although they put in a fighting performance!

Congratulations to Garry Orton for reaching 1,000 appearances for North Enfield - an outstanding achievement with more to follow on this later!

However, our Friendly XI claimed a thrilling five wicket victory over South Loughton on Sunday, winning courtesy of a single from the final ball!

Oliver Munt, Otis Halley and David Malleson all bowled well for their two wickets apiece, whilst Kieran Jones (87*) finished the game off incredibly for us to bring home the victory!

Everyone at the club would also like to wish North Enfield legend Richard Sanders a speedy recovery following his knock to the head and thank South Loughton for their help on the day!

Well done to everyone who turned out for us this weekend - we go again on Saturday!

After the frustration of last weekend's rain, we're back in Herts Cricket League action tomorrow and will be looking to bring home another 60 points!

Our 1s host Lutonian in Division 4B, whilst our 2s make the trip to Cheshunt Rosedale Cricket Club in Division 10 East!

Congratulations to Garry Orton, who is set to make his 1,000th appearance for the club at Cheshunt Rosedale Cricket Club - an unbelievable achievement!

Thanks to Allan Jones for umpiring for our 1s and to Jess Lessiter for scoring for our 2s!

Don't forget that we will also be hosting our Quiz Night tomorrow, so why not come up to watch the conclusion of our 1s' match, before partaking in a thoroughly enjoyable night of quiz action?

The weekend will then conclude with the visit of South Loughton to Strayfield Road on Sunday!

Despite the rain last weekend, our Friendly XI's game against Highgate Taverners still led to considerable movement in our Fantasy League!

It's bunching up at the top of the leaderboard, with Johnny Greenfield jumping above Oliver Munt into first place!

Johnny leads Oliver by eight points, with Steve Gandy only 38 points off the lead!

Garry Orton accumulated the most points on the pitch, with his 51 seeing him collect 71 points!

Well done to all of our top five performing managers and players last weekend!
