🤿 KUBI Dry Glove Tip of the Day 🤿

Dry gloves can seem intimidating at first. We've all heard the stories:

"My hands got squeezed."
"My gloves ballooned."
"I couldn't get comfortable."

The good news? Understanding air migration can make a huge difference.

Now, we're not saying this is the only way, or even the best way for everyone. But it is a simple tip that helps a lot of divers get comfortable with dry gloves.

Once your dry gloves are sealed to your suit, air isn't automatically travelling into the gloves. The glove system is still sealed.

That's where a simple air equalisation aid comes in.

A small piece of bungee, flexible tubing, cord, or similar can create a pathway for air to move between your suit and your gloves. This allows pressure to equalise as you descend and ascend, helping to avoid the dreaded "Michelin Man Hands" effect.

An added benefit? If a glove gets damaged, the equalisation aid can be removed quickly to help limit water travelling further up the arm.
Simple. Effective. Worth considering.

We’ve all done the awkward cylinder shuffle… one over the shoulder, one banging against your leg, questioning every life choice on the walk to the dive site.

The KUBI Fitted System sits flush to the suit, keeping things streamlined so branding is usually just on the glove side.

The KUBI Standard System is more visible, with both the aluminium suit ring and glove ring on show.
