Some very sad news. A loss of my very good friend Stuart Brighton who died last night. I met Stuart over 20 years ago who worked closely with me during the time i spent managing the Westgate Badminton Centre in Wi******er. An amazing man who was an energetic character who had amazing diverse interests and lived life to the full. He will be sadly missed and our thoughts and prayers are with Alex James and Jill at this time.

Just to update you that Rackets Plus has now been taken over by the new company BadmintonHQ who will have a mail order web site from April and will continue to trade at the shop at the Westgate Badminton Centre. I will continue to work with Badminton HQ so I can continue to service you with everything Badminton.

All England finals tickets

I was given, as a birthday present, 2 tickets for the finals day on Sunday March 10th at the Birmingham indoor arena at 12.00pm. Unfortunately I had already got tickets for this day so am looking to sell if anyone is interested. They have a face value of £150 for the pair but would be open to offers. Hi All
Just to let you know that although I have stepped down as Manager of Westgate Badminton Centre I will be continuing the Rackets Plus business from Westgate and will be offering a twice a week (Wednesday and Sunday) pick up and delivery of restringing and badminton equipment orders. We will continue to match or better any mail order price with a more personal service.
