Latest Update - 23/09/2021

​The club is now fully open for play. You can book your own casual play in the Rink Book at the club. League programs are on their way to team captains, with the plan to still start in early October. Membership renewals are also being sent, so please look out for these in the post.

​Apologies for the delay in the League Program being sent out, but with trying to understand who was intending to play this season following the pandemic has been quite difficult.

​Although there is no formal procedures in place around the COVID pandemic, we are still suggesting the original guidelines we had in place are followed where possible to protect the membership. These include wearing face coverings when moving around the club (excluding play), and to follow the one way systems still in place. Sanitizer is also distributed throughout the club.

​Other than that we hope we will have a full season ahead, and people can enjoy the game.

As from Monday the indoor will be open again for casual play, from 09:30 to 21:00 no need to book just turn up whenever you wish. Outdoor is still open as well. Happy bowling

Club Closure Update July 2021 - As you will be aware, there have been many changes to the governments policy on the opening of facilities such as the Bowls Club. We are pleased to confirm that the Outdoor Section remains open, and if you would like to play, please contact us at [email protected]. The Indoor section remains closed for the Summer period, but we are hopeful of a full season commencing in October 2021, providing no further lockdown's are forthcoming. We will advise if anything changes in due course.

Government Enforced Closure

We are sorry to inform you that we have been ordered to close from 10pm Wednesday 4th November.
We will hopefully resume the season as soon as we are able.
We will rearrange the un-played matches throughout the remainder of the season.
As for your playing membership fees.
If you haven’t paid, we will only charge you £50 for the season if we resume in December.
If you have paid, we will credit your membership card with £10 for you to spend at the club, from December onwards.

So, we will be having a Special!! Carlsberg, Budweiser & IPA will be half price until it’s gone.

The Outdoors are meeting for roll ups at present on a Tuesday and a Thursday. Everyone is welcome at this time and we are not charging for membership, so why not have a go it is just £3.50 per session. If you are interested please contact Jay Barron on 07954330559 or [email protected]

Just as a further update the club remains closed both for Indoors and Outdoors. We cannot guarantee anyone's safety within the premises, and owing to the demographic nature of our membership, it is difficult to see when this will be possible. The safety of our members is the priority and hence why we have taken this decision. Further updates will follow should any changes become possible. For now stay safe from the Virus. It does not care who it takes down.

Club Statement Covid 19

Our members health and well being is the clubs top priority. It is with this in mind we are following Governement advice to close out the indoor season early.

NO FURTHER LEAGUES OR DRIVES ARE TO BE PLAYED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE


All unplayed league matches will be scored as a draw

Club competitions & un-played league knock out’s will be completed when the new season resumes in October.

Presentation night which is usually in May will now be held in October


Both the Indoor & Outdoor will remain open, for individual use. Please DO NOT COME TO THE CLUB IF YOU ARE IN ANY WAYS FEELING UNWELL.

The club will not be locking it’s doors unless we are instructed to by the Government.
