Over the weekend we had 4 members at the 2026 Powerlifting World Championships in Manchester.

None of them disappointed 👊🏼

Helena 🥇
New World champion with
110 squat, 75 (WR) bench and 120 deadlift. That is incredible 🫶🏼

Ethan 🥈
Came runner up with some massive lifts
250kg squat, 160kg bench and 270kg deadlift

Harvey 🥇
100kg bench
237.5kg deadlift
World champion bench
World champion deadlift
Best teenage deadlifter and a new British record deadlift.
This left Harvey gulliver🇬🇧 British, European and world champion and best teenage lifter in all 3.

Harrison 🥇
200 squat, 130 Bench and 212.5 deadlift 😵
Also smashed it out the park and ended the weekend at World Champion too.

105 squat, 70 bench and 130 deadlift. 305kg total at 51.7kg !! That is incredible 🫶🏼

Ethan 🥈

Apologies to all those who were excited about our Big Soham Sports Day event this week but unfortunatley we have had to postpone the event until 2027. Further details will be announced closer to the time on when the new date for the event will be released.
We would like to apologise for all those who were gearing up for the event but we'll be back bigger and stronger next year so keep your eyes peeled

⭐️ WE’RE GOING GOLD ⭐️

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness of childhood cancer and its symptoms, while supporting the children and families affected.

This year, we’re proud to be going ⭐️ GOLD ⭐️ in support of CCLG, The Children & Young People’s Cancer Association.

We’re also supporting a special named fundraiser raising money for research into rhabdomyosarcoma, in memory of George 🧡

We love getting behind important causes, supporting local families and helping bring people together through our events. We’ll continue to support these causes and put on events that make a difference.

Two years ago we opened these doors not really knowing what this place would become.

Two years on, it has far exceeded everything we imagined, and that is entirely down to the people who have walked through those doors.

To every member, visitor, coach, and member of the local community, thank you. You have made this gym what it is, and what it will continue to be 🫶🏼

Here is what two years has looked like:

* 7 permanent members of staff, all employed locally
* Over 60 local children using the gym every single week for our youth gym and classes
* A strong partnership with our local secondary school for PE lessons, events and community projects
* A space for local coaches to work with their clients
* Regular charity events supporting Just George, Arthur Rank Hospice Charity and ANDYSMANCLUB to name a few
* A full timetable of classes to cater for everyone
* When we opened, we had 2 members over the age of 65. Today we have an army of them 💪🏼

We have also more than doubled our equipment since day one, and a huge amount of that has come directly from your feedback. That is how we want to keep building this place, with you.
