Kids (Mini Ninjas Class) - (7-11 yrs) 6.10pm - 7.10pm (£5.00)
Senior Student Class - (12+ yrs) 7.15pm - 9.15pm (£8.00)
First Lesson Free. All instuctors DBS checked, safeguarding and first aid qualified. Ninjutsu/Budo Taijutsu is based on ancient warrior traditions and serves as practical self defence and survival/strategy training designed for mdoern day encounters and preserving ancient battlefield tactics.

Good news everyone!
We are returning to our original times on our Thursday evening training nights on a permanent and regular basis. (Obviously I will let everyone know on rare nights when the hall is closed due to other pre-bookings but these are only a few for the year).
As from 27th March, we will revert back to the 7.30pm start of class, and finish at 9.00pm!
This means that the doors will be open at 7pm for set up and registration, giving us time to prep the dojo and start punctually at 7.30pm.

Bujinkan Ely Dojo opens its doors for the new year on Thursday 16th January 2025.
New students welcome, (Free for TWO sessions)!
Back to basics for first couple of weeks so a great opportunity for new members to participate and experience our training, as well as regular students to shake off the xmas dust and get back onto the mats.
£10 per session on a weekly pay as you go basis: (8.00pm - 9.30pm)
Training in traditional Japanese budo, unarmed self defence from nine different ryuha (schools), that is also effective for modern day real life encounters, a vast range of traditional weapons training such sword, staffs, knife, chain, polearms, spears, shuriken to name a few. An ancient martial arts warrior tradition of the samurai and ninja based on strategy and survival. Build more confidence, health and fitness, meet new friends and become part of a great family that is the Bujinkan Dojo.

Last session of 2024 will be Thursday 19th December. Closed for a couple of weeks.
We then re-open the dojo on Thursday 9th January 2025!
Times: 7.30pm - 9.00pm.
New fees will be £10.00 per student each session. Pay as you go. First session free for new students as always.
January will be ideal for newbies/beginners, as it will be back to fundamentals.

First Aid Course: (EFAW L2).
We are running a first aid course for students and instructors on SUNDAY 28th APRIL 2024.
Location: 'Ely Dojo' - Centre E, Barton Road, Ely, Cambs.
Time: 0900 - 1700
Cost: £40.00 per person. (Pay on day).
Trainer: Robert Ludlow.
This course is open up to the group as well as my security staff, but there will be a few other people joining us too.
We have plenty of spaces left but the maximum is 12 for the class.
This is a great life skill to have, and for those that are up for renewal too. It is mandatory that all instructors must have the qualification as you know. If you have a valid certificate, please send me a copy of it asap so I can update your files which ensures that you are covered and qualified.
We have two months, so I will send reminders out from time to time (when I remember). Any questions on content etc, contact Rob please.

Bujinkan Ely has now merged both juniors and seniors into the same main class.
Main Class: Start Time - 1930
Finish Time - 2100
Ages: 8+
(Juniors have the option of training until 2030 or finish at 2100 with the seniors)
They keep up very well with the pace and learn much better.

(Training 28th Oct): Ninjutsu kids class are still running this week during the school break with a Halloween theme with training, snacks during the break, and games to follow.
Adults class naturally continues after the junior session.

Excellent launch to the kids class last night and the half dozen that attended did fantastic as we introduced them to the art and they practised various techniques from rolls, breakfalls, strikes, blocks and grappling with great energy and enthusiasm.
Beginners are welcome anytime, any week, as nobody misses out as we develop lesson plans week to week covering new things as well as going back to whats been previously covered to keep those skills fresh and toned up. Each class we all learn at the same time as a group and ensure the sessions are fun and varied.

Ninja Kids Club:
The Bujinkan Ninjutsu Ely Dojo will be re-starting the Junior Class with the opening night on Thursday 16th September 2021 at the Centre E, Barton Road, Ely.
Ages (7-11 yrs)
Times: 6pm - 7pm (Doors open at 6pm, training starts at 6.10pm after we set up mats, we finish 7.10pm)!
First Lesson Free. (£5 per lesson after).
This is a great opportunity for the younger generation looking for a different and traditional martial art to learn and practise an unlimited range of great self defence skills and abilities, with fun interactive activities which promotes confidence, health, fitness and skills in their growth and development.
This class will precede the senior student class and is suitable for boys and girls. We do not do competitions as we are not a sport based system. Our training is based on genuine warrior traditions with a special training programme for junior students.
