Good luck to all of our girls competing in the Essex All Stars Dance competition on the 5th and 6th of September, representing STDC (Sophie Thacker Dance Collective)!

They have all worked so hard since starting dance to build on their performance and artistic impression in skating, we are so excited to see how they get on at their first dance comp. Good luck and have lots of fun girls 💚

No Skating at Ely Paradise Centre Tomorrow ❗

A quick update for all our skaters and families:

There will be no skating session tomorrow at Ely Paradise Centre as the hall floor is being resurfaced. This essential work means the main hall is closed.

🛼 We’ll be back on Sunday 6th September — we can’t wait to see everyone then.

We are also away at the Basic Promotional Championships in Great Yarmouth. Updates from the weekend to follow.

We are so excited to announce that we have two GB squad skaters now!

A huge well done to our tot ladies skater Esme and cadet ladies skater Erika. Your hard work and commitment has paid off!

These are CARSC’s first squad skaters and we are so proud of them.

Our July competition was the EAST Gala!

All of our skaters enjoyed this event and had so much fun as a team.

Phoebe achieved 3rd place in the non medalist Solo dance event.

Erika achieved 2nd place in the Bronze Solo dance event.

Zoe placed 2nd in the Adult Interbronze and over event.

Annabelle, Erika and Gemma achieved 3rd place in their Weird and Wacky Team event.

Gemma and Phoebe both placed 1st in the Mix and Match duo team event.

Well done to all of our skaters that took part in this competition we are so proud of you all, it was a great weekend!

Our second competition of June was the Tot - Cadet Championships

All of our skaters came away with multiple achievements including, new pbs and levels!

Brooke competed in the Tot ladies category, this was her first national competition and she did so well skating her city blues and her first ever freedance, finishing in 15th place.

Esme also competed in the Tot Ladies category, this was her first British championships, and she skated a beautiful city blues and her freedance finishing in 8th place.

Charlotte competed in the Mini Ladies category where she achieved her travel level 2 and finished with 17.52 points, in 15th place.

Amy skated in the Espoir Ladies category, this was her first British championships and she achieved her travel 3 and finished with 24.73 points, in 16th place.

Elina skated in the Cadet Ladies category, she achieved her travel 3% and finished with 35.50 in 17th place.

Erika also skated in the Cadet Ladies category where she achieved her footwork 1 and travel 4% and finished with 53.46 in 9th place.

We are so proud of all our skaters who competed in this years British Championships, they have all significantly improved since last year and we cannot wait to see their progress in the next competition season!
