🌟Biosecurity at CIAT Ashfields.

To everyone coming to Ashfields next week. Please be mindful of the current UK Equine Flu Outbreaks.

Ensure your horse has a current flu vaccination within the last 12 months ( for interest: so far there are no known new cases of flu in horses vaccinated every 6 months)

Please bring your horses’ passports when you collect your event pack on arrival.

There is plenty we can all do to minimise the risk of spreading any virus.
Eg:

-avoid touching/stroking other people’s horses and wash hands if you do

-use only your own equipment: buckets/haynets/grooming kit etc

-avoid grazing horses and ponies in high traffic areas

With some simple precautions we can keep our animals healthy and.. out competing!

What a superb day at BDS Championship Show at Addington at the weekend.
A perfect mix of friendly and competitive atmosphere with well oiled timetables and smiles all round.
Bravo to Mike King and his team.

Two of the top spots were taken by regular AIAT GB competitors with their stunning turnouts.
Showing a lovely crossover between disciplines. All that ‘attelage’ training with the driving skills as well as immaculate turnout paying off.
The camaraderie, attention to detail and expertise shone through.
