Everyone at McDonald Golf Club, Ellon is saddened by the passing of Brian Watson, who was a member with us for 44 years.

A service to celebrate Brian’s life will be held at Ellon Parish Church this Tuesday at 11am.

This will be followed by teas with us in our lounge at McDonald Golf Club, Ellon from noon.

Brian’s family have asked for no flowers on the day, but if so desired, donations in lieu of flowers at the church door for chosen charities.

From everyone at the club, we pass on our condolences to Brian’s family, who will be fondly remembered and sorely missed.

🏆 Congratulations to Archie Callander who has been crowned our Junior Gary Riddell Trophy champion!

👏 Archie capped off an excellent season with rounds of 77 and 73 in yesterday’s 36-hole final against Lewis Grant.

👍 A huge well done also goes to Lewis for getting to the final, marking another great season for him, after also reaching our Junior Club Championship final earlier in the year.

🙌 Scott’s shot was all the more impressive in very high winds this morning.

👍 It was Scott’s second ever hole in one after his first at Inverurie.
This magnificent shot was celebrated with his pals and playing partners, Drew Leith and Stuart Duncan.
