Your first HYROX doesn’t have to be a guessing game. Here are 3 mistakes to avoid before you even start training...

āŒ Training blocks over 12 weeks 12 weeks is the sweet spot. Long enough to build real fitness, short enough to stay sharp and avoid burnout. One focused block beats months of unfocused training every time.

āŒ Skipping your simulation session Before you begin your training block, do a race simulation. It will expose where your technique breaks down, where your strength runs out, and where your capacity hits a wall. I’ve left 3 examples of workouts you can do in the slides, that aren’t quite as aggressive as race day.

āŒ Only doing HYROX workouts The stations aren’t complex - you don’t need to spend 12 weeks perfecting them. Get strong, get fit, then get specific.
