2026 Champion's Decided

The last few days has seen the Gents and Ladies Champions decided at Tarves BC.

In the Ladies, our president Sylvia Campbell was the victor over Lorna Rae.

The Gents was won by Connor Milne, who made a late comeback against Marshall Presly.

On saturday we held our annual top 5 and this years winners were Fergus Muat's team of Liam Beattie, Gary McDonald, Paul Hay and Mark Campbell. Well done guys! They defeated Susan Duncan's team in the final

As always we have our MVP award and this years winner was Mark Campbell who went the entire day undefeated! Well done Mark

Special thanks to Michael Presly for once again sponsoring the tournament! If anyone needs a painter hes your man 😉

And also a massive thanks to everyone in the club who contributed to helping out leading up to and on the day. Without you guys days like these just dont happen so its very much appreciated!

More exciting news from Tarves BC this week.

Connor Milne has been selected once again in the Scotland Team for the 2026 Atlantic International Challenge. The event takes place at Belmont Bolwing Club in Belfast, Ireland from Sunday 6th Sep to Thurs 9th Sep.

Connor's continued success both indoor and outdoor continues to put our small club on the map and we can only wish all the best for this event.

Well deserved for all the effort he has put in over the years!

Another weekend has passed and even more success for the club!

An emphatic win against Rothie in the top 5 singles on Friday night!

Then a very close encounter with Pitmedden on Sunday saw us come out victorious in the top 10!

Both wins sees the club into the scottish inter county events next season which have always been memorable days for the club

An excellent effort from the club winning all 3 A&K competitions this season. Well done all!

An excellent day for the club at the Benachie finals day!

It started with a convincing win over the hosts Pitmedden in the league cup

Then came the knockout competitions

Andy Duncan won the Champion of Champions Singles

Yogi, Willie Howie and Mark McIntosh won the triples

Kenny Gray, Jake Grant, Ian Mitchell and Marshall Presly won the fours

All in all a very succesful day for the club 😁 well done everyone!

Well done to Steve and Mark who had a comfortable win in their first pairs match yesterday! They now play Troon in the last 16. Stick in lads!

However Michael, Marshall and Connor didnt fare as well in their triples match going down to a very good abbeyview team
