After much deliberation - particularly around water quality - we’ve concluded that Mere swimming isn’t viable for us currently. So, we won’t be scheduling anything in the near future.

Not being able to timetable a pattern of regular swims, plus the vagaries of the algal blooms is problematic in itself, but our diaries are also now so full it is impossible to fit everything in.

Hopefully Alderford, Hanmer and other venues are options for you, and if you’re discreet and take a swim-buddy, the Mere is still possible on a self-guided basis.

Thank you all for your enthusiasm and support since 2020 - very much appreciated.

Never say never, but for now we’re ‘dormant’.
