🚨 Diving safety is central to everything we do as a club community and building a positive safety culture is one of the most powerful ways clubs support safe, enjoyable diving.

Today, BSAC’s Head of Diving and Training, Sophie Heptonstall, attended the European Underwater Federation (EUF) General Assembly remotely on behalf of BSAC.

The meeting brought together representatives from diving and underwater organisations across Europe to discuss key developments affecting our sector, including safety, training standards, environmental initiatives, certification, industry engagement, and the future direction of the EUF. Topics also included the formal establishment of the EUF as a non-profit federation in Austria and reports from CMAS, RSTC Europe, and the EUF Safety and ECO working groups.

BSAC is proud to contribute to these important international discussions, helping to ensure the interests of UK divers and snorkellers are represented as the underwater community works together on shared challenges and opportunities.
