🏀🇼🇪 Phoenix Duo Representing Wales in Spain! 🇪🇸🏀

Everyone at Cheshire Phoenix would like to wish Sam Lloyd and Ellis Durham the very best of luck as they represent Wales U14s in the Euro Basketball Cup this weekend in Barcelona and Blanes, Spain.

Having developed through our Phoenix pathway and now playing for our U16 programme, this is a fantastic achievement and a testament to their hard work, dedication and love for the game.

We are incredibly proud to see two of our young athletes wearing the Wales jersey on the international stage and showcasing their talents against some of Europe’s best young players.

🏀 Happy Father’s Day to all our Cheshire Phoenix Basketball Dads! 🏀

Today we celebrate the dads, stepdads, grandads and father figures who make so much of what we do possible.

Thank you for the early morning starts, the late-night drives, the endless lifts to training and games, the hours spent in sports halls, the washing of kit, the words of encouragement after tough losses, and the celebrations after big wins.

Whether you’re coaching from the sidelines, cheering from the stands, keeping the stats, volunteering behind the scenes, or simply supporting your child’s basketball journey every step of the way, your dedication makes a huge difference.

We hope you have a fantastic day and enjoy some well-deserved appreciation.

Cheshire Phoenix Juniors are looking for a small number of committed players to strengthen our U14 National League squad for the 2026/27 season as we compete in the Northern Premier Division.

We are seeking players who:
🏀 Have strong basketball experience
🏀 Are committed to training and development
🏀 Want to compete at a high level against the best teams in the North
🏀 Have the attitude and work ethic to be part of a competitive programme
