Monday Strength and Conditioning at Heroic focuses on lower body strength and movement quality.
Before we train, we show members how to set everything up properly and explain the movements.
For example, with the box squat, the goal is control and consistency.
Set the box height that allows you to sit back, stay balanced, and drive up with good posture.
Over time, as strength and confidence improve, that height can be lowered.
With Russian kettlebell swings, the movement comes from the hips.
It is a hinge, not a squat.
Push the hips back, keep the chest proud, and drive the hips forward to generate power. The arms simply guide the bell.
This is what our strength and conditioning sessions are about.
Teaching people how to move properly, build strength safely, and train with purpose.
In many ways, it is simply Group PT in a class environment.
Coached sessions.
Clear structure.
Members learning how to train properly.
That is how we do things at Heroic.
