2022 homebred Anglo European geldings by Grand Prix stallion Durable, to make 16.3/17 hands.

If I could keep them all I would! However we’ve made the difficult decision to sell Julie’s beatiful 2yos.

Both boys are super friendly, good to catch, tie up, groom and lead. They lead through the village to their summer grazing like perfect gentlemen! Not fased by traffic or bothered by farm machinery, they’re usually getting in the way whilst the farmer is filling their water! They are good to worm, with the farrier and for the vet.

Individual info on pictures. This is a very difficult decision, homes are more important than price.

It is with deepest sadness that we announce that Julie passed away on Saturday morning, following a short but tenacious battle with cancer.

Julie Blanchard is a name synonymous with the sport of dressage, both as a trainer and rider. Her ability to regard each horse as an individual and bring out the best performances they could achieve was a gift, few of us are lucky enough to possess.

Despite health battles for much of her latter years Julie was never one to complain or be limited by what she couldn’t do. Indeed right up until the end she was unstoppable in her determination to make the most of every day and every ride.

As a trainer she made you feel proud of yourself, always having a kind word, no matter how tough the going became. In her riders and horses, she always saw the good, the glass was always half full and never half empty.

To so many of us Julie was a role model, a friend, a mentor and an inspiration. We’re sure there are countless people who would join us in agreeing that they were incredibly fortunate to have had her in their lives.

Whilst this is undoubtedly a case of a life cut short, we wholeheartedly believe that for us and the people she cared about, she will always be near, that little voice in our head, just before we come up the centre line, saying “kick on” or a very well timed “SIT UP!”

Julie, it has been a pleasure and a honour to know you.

Totally gutted not to be at Addington CPEDI. Yogi qualified at last winter championships two week ago. Got the invite and paid entries, stabling etc. only to be told 3 days before the show I am not eligible. To rub salt to the wound it’s a non returnable fee all £700 pounds of it.

The international invite came through so Addington bound next month to compete at Para 2*. Big Thankyou to Shauna large and Alicia Jardine for letting me have Yogi and also to OH Consultants keeping my boys comfy.

Yogis Winter Para Champs didn’t quite go to plan! After a lovely warm up and a beautiful first half of the test he Yogis took rather a disliking to the judges table resulting in some extra unnecessary moves! 🫣 Somehow we managed a respectable score and 5th place 🎉

Massive thank you to Poppy Ronni Denton & Steph Garrisxn for holding the fort at home and thank you to Amy Thornham for her usual grooming duties.

Quick trip for a Steph lesson yesterday my first in months. I tested out the new Finesse snaffle bridle from OH consultants and Yogi seemed very happy in it. Let’s hope we are now set for the Para finals this weekend.

A late post as we’ve been busy 🐝

Took Yogi to Bishop for the Elementary Regionals on Friday, my firsts regionals in 5 years and our first as a partnership.

We finished 6th overall with 66% which I’m super pleased with as I would’ve liked another couple of week’s training!! 🫣

Onwards and upwards to the Para Winter Champs at the weekend!
