This year marks a historic new era in which we’ll be merging with Collegians FC!

Stronger together, the merger of the two allows the two clubs to thrive, rather than survive. A joint-venture with a shared home, a no-brainer!

Collegians Football club and AFC Lindley have decided to come together in a merger between two historic clubs from the 2025/26 season.

The two clubs are very similar in many ways and it has formed a natural fit which will improve the overall strength of the club moving forward.

This decision has been taken to ensure that football continues to thrive on and off the pitch, at all levels - juniors through to open age in the local area, which we’re all proud to represent.

The club will move forward under the banner of Collegians.

Further information will follow in the coming days and weeks regarding all things next season.

After two cup exits on penalty shootouts, we now turn our focus back to the league. Today we host the current league leaders, on a bitterly cold wintery feeling afternoon!

This also marks the last of a run of 8 home games in a row. The bar takings have thanked the fixture secretary!

The lads dug in for a classic cup clash last week!

Starting the game slow almost cost us, 0-2 within 10 mins, a mountain to claim!

With a true Lindley dogfight spirit, we win the game 3-2 in the last minute of the game… see video for the reaction 🎥
