2026 will see a new and exciting era for Elie Sports Club. Our Club Manager, Julie Otto retires on 31 December and our Head Professional, Michael Bradfield moves on to another stage in his career as a highly qualified and experienced PGA Professional and Coach.

While the Committee enters into the recruitment process to establish the new team, all facilities remain open and can be booked online or in the shop. Scott and Joe are there to help you during this interim period.

A reminder that our U10 Mini Tennis Tournament will take place on the 8th and 9th of August, entries can be made to play on either or both of the days.

The driving range will reopen at some point tomorrow once the damaged protective netting has been dismantled and cleared away. Play will strictly be from the outdoor mats only, no play is permitted from inside the driving range building. Similarly, play is also prohibited from grass on the range. The mats inside the range will be removed and a traffic cone placed in each bay to remind anyone using the range of this requirement.

For affiliate members, please be aware that in order to keep our driving range open for members and visitors to Elie, the GHC designated practice area will be closed until we can assess how best to reinstate the protective netting.

Everyone is reminded of the dangers associated with golf balls so please do not walk past the posts and onto the driving range.

The Pro's shop will be able to keep you informed of when exactly the range will reopen tomorrow. Thank you all for your patience.

2025 Junior Tennis Tournament

The 2025 Junior U14 Tennis Tournament was played over two days on July 31st and August 1st. Girls and boys competing for various singles and doubles trophies. The girls' U14 singles was won by Zoe Armstrong, with Elizabeth Balfour the runner-up. The boy's U14 trophy was won by Alfie O'Brien, and the runner-up was Hamish Sloan. Alfie and Hamish teamed up for the U14 Boys Doubles and were winners against Bradley Rocha and Killian Russell. Thanks to all the players and parents for participating! Special thanks also to Anna and her team on the courts and to Club Manager Julie Otto.

For generations, junior sports camps at Elie Sports Club have introduced our juniors to sports. Parents and grandparents who learned golf and tennis at Elie Sports Club are today on the sidelines, watching their own young families learning new sporting skills and making new friends in a fun-filled, safe environment. Summer 2025 has been as busy as ever, with Padel now included in the racket sports sessions. July was at full capacity across the age groups and ability levels.

August camps are almost fully booked, but some spots are still available. Our team of professionals, Michael Bradfield (PGA) and Anna Myatt (Tennis Scotland), and their assistants run the Golf and Racket Sports Camps. Check the website for available camps and sign up.
