🌟 Active Schools Young Leader Summer Coach Academy – Now Open for S1–S6! 🌟

Are you a current or aspiring Young Leader looking to boost your coaching skills, grow your confidence, and have fun this summer? Active Schools is excited to offer two Summer Coach Academies in Moray — one in the West (Elgin) and one in the East (Buckie)!

This is a fantastic opportunity to:
✔ Build your leadership skills
✔ Learn how to deliver activity sessions
✔ Work alongside other Young Leaders
✔ Put your new coaching knowledge into practice each afternoon

🌟 Grampian Disability Sport Parasport Festival 2026 🌟

We’re excited to welcome pupils P4–S6 from Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire and Moray to this year’s Parasport Festival at Inverurie Academy!

The festival is open to children and young people with a physical disability, vision or hearing impairment, learning disability, or Down Syndrome who attend mainstream education.

Participants can try a wide range of parasports and physical activities, delivered by local clubs and coaches who are committed to inclusion and diversity—helping young people stay active and get involved in sport across Grampian.

As part of registration, we’ll ask for disability‑related information to ensure the right support is in place. Only essential details will be shared with activity providers, with consent.

Moray Pride Inclusion Sports Hub recently welcomed coaches and sports facilitators to Equality Through Sport workshops, delivered by The Fair Play Foundation.

The workshop, ‘Colours of our scarves’ is a long-standing anti-discrimination and education programme funded by Scottish Government. It is committed to promoting equality, inclusion, and respect within Scottish sport and wider society.
