Elburton Villa football club are looking for a new groundsman . Spend a few hours a week in the fresh air, keeping our pitches green, safe, and ready for match days. We supply all the equipment and materials—we just need your dedication.
Role Overview :
We are looking for a community-minded person to help maintain our club’s pitches . Whether you are recently retired, have a passion for football or simply want to give back to the community, this role is perfect for making a tangible difference.
Key Responsibilities
Pitch Preparation: Marking out lines and setting up corner flags and goals before weekend or mid-week fixtures .
Routine Maintenance: Basic grass cutting, divot repair, rolling, and general upkeep of the playing surface.
Equipment Care: Safely operating and maintaining club machinery.
Safety Checks: Inspecting the pitch area to ensure it is free from hazards and safe for players.
