What a night for our girls at the Westlakes Academy Sports Award Evening!

We had a year 8 sports girl of the year, a year 10 sports girl of the year, a year 11 sports girl of the year a year 12 sports girl of the year!

A special recognition award for rugby and a special recognition for athletics!

An outstanding resilience award!

Finally a sports girl of the year award overall!

Well done girls were incredibly proud of you all 💙🤍

Happy Fathers Day to All Our Amazing Dads, Step Dads, Grandads and Father Figures!

To our coaches who give up their time each week to train the girls, encourage them to be the best that they can be and take them to games, thank you!

To the men who bring the girls to training each week, support them on the sidelines whatever the weather and have shaped them into incredible young ladies, thank you!

💙 Our Under 16s travelled down to Leigh today for a fantastic development opportunity against the current top of the League side in the U16s Premier League, Leigh Miners.

The girls rose to the challenge brilliantly. They worked hard, showed real character, and put in a performance they should be proud of. Games like this are where learning happens, and today will have given them huge experience to take forward.

We’re incredibly proud of every one of them. 💙
