This week, for the first time, the Club held a Members’ evening reception in the rarely opened Moat Garden at Windsor Castle. The Members, headed up by our Chairman Lt Col Sean O’Dwyer and his wife Mary and were welcomed by the Constable and Governor of the Castle, Lt General Philip Jones, before having an opportunity to leisurely explore this lovely part of the Castle whilst enjoying some delicious refreshments 🥂

The evening also raised funds for the Royal Windsor Rose and Horticultural Society, so a very warm thank you to all of our Members who supported this unique evening 🏰

Congratulations to Harum Scarum who won the Crawford Cup Final over the weekend, defeating AFB 5–4 in a closely contested match at Coworth Park.

The MVP was awarded to Sarkis Gabrelian and the Images of Polo BPP went to Tess, played by James Mann.

The prizes were kindly presented to the team by Victoria Diaz Alberdi.

Earlier in the day, Eleventine secured victory in the Sub Final, beating Watchcentre 8–2 to round off an excellent morning of polo.

The 10-Goal Social Cup concluded today on Smith’s Lawn with a superb afternoon of fast-paced polo, followed by a delicious Afternoon Tea in the Royal Box for our Social Members, whose generous sponsorship made the tournament such a success.

Congratulations to Jehangiri Dogs, who claimed the title with an impressive 8-6 victory over TEQ on The Queen’s Ground.

Jeremy Pemberton was named Most Valuable Player, while the Images of Polo BPP went to Incari Deportada, played and owned by Cesar Crespo.

The trophies were presented by Catharina Hillenbrand von der Neyen and Alyson Smith, Dave Wakelin and Andrew Booth from The Not Forgotten Charity.

Earlier in the day, Tchogan secured the Sub- Final with a 5-3 win over Delaney.

A huge thank you to our Social Members for their valued support throughout the tournament. A percentage of all funds raised today will be donated to the military charity The Not Forgotten, who support veterans and service personnel living with injury, illness and isolation.
