~~ LUCA XC: PARLIAMENT HILL 19/10/22 ~~

On Wednesday the 19th of October RHUL Athletics travelled to Parliament Hill to compete in LUCA (London University & College Athletics) to race with and against all other London based universities at the first Cross Country race of the season.

Running alongside nearly 200 other athletes, everyone from Royal Holloway did an amazing job and proudly represented the Bears 🐻

who came 12!

~ End of term Christmas social ~

We will be having our last social of this term where we will head to our to go place 7pm at the Happy Man pub, where we can share our last laughs and drinks together before the New Year.

At 9:30pm the night will continue with us hosting a Christmas party to get our jingle bell rock on, filled with festive snacks and games.

Come along in anything festive but there will be a prize for most festive and worst christmas jumpers.

Remember to bring a small gift to participate in the Christmas lucky dip.

Here at RHUL Athletics we're always up for a charity challenge - and a bit of lockdown isn't going to stop us raising some much-needed cash for a great cause.

So, over the next four weeks we’ll be attempting to ‘virtually’ run to some of the World’s most famous Diamond League athletics stadiums, including Paris, Zurich and Brussels to name a few.

All the money we raise will be donated to Mind, the mental health charity; a fantastic organisation that needs your help more than ever this year.

We know we’ve got what it takes to go the distance… please will you help us to go that extra mile and give whatever you can to this great cause. You can donate by following the link in our bio.

A team of members from Royal Holloway Athletics and Trampolining are raising money for three amazing charities with a Lockdown Challenge.

Having calculated a total distance from everyone's home to Royal Holloway (and rounded it a tiny bit for fun!) we will be collectively running/walking/cycling 2020 miles back to uni just in time for Summer Ball (virtually of course) on Friday June 5th!

All money will be split equally between Women's Aid, Trussell Trust and Crisis.

It is going to be a big challenge for us all so please support us!!!
