This is not a post that I had intended on updating but unfortunately I fell ill on the last camp and this has led to me being hospitalised for a long time and now I'm still here I don't have a time scale of when I will be out or in fact how long my recovery is going to take. So I will not be running a Summer Camp this year. Thank you to everyone who has supported me over the last few camps. I hope to come back from this stronger but I need time so again I'm very sorry

I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who supported me and my team over the easter camp. Even thou the weather was poor we still spent more time outdoors than indoors and a few kids looked like they had just come from a mud spa.

This camp couldn’t be possible if I didn’t have my amazing wife by my side, so Natalie thank you so much me and all the children appreciated your time and effort especially snack time.

Can I also say a big thankyou to Coach Dave with the increase in numbers it was great to have a helping hand and made it easier for me and more enjoyable.

I also had 2 junior players join me from Thoresby Colliry Cricket Club. Both Ollie and Maisie blew me away with the maturity they showed in both leading teams throughout the day to leading sessions with no input from me which was incredible, as a coach this fills me with pride and what was even better is they both told me they want to take it further which is fantastic so well done to both of you.

Last but not least if it wasn’t for Thorsby Colliry Cricket Club this could not happen giving me access to the ground and facilities none of this would have been possible so thank you.

Don’t forget if they want to continue with cricket come down to the ground Fridays 6pm – 7pm for training its FREE and best of all bars open for you to chill have a drink.

What an epic first day at camp. Thank you so much for supporting my camp and all kids had smiles on their faces.

Big shout out to my helpers Coach Dave, Natalie, Ollie and Maisie with out you the camp couldn't run as smoothly as it does so thankyou

Looking forward to the start of my easter camp tomorrow, Hopefully the weather holds out for us, Just in case please make sure they bring a coat please along with a packed lunch and a drinks bottle.
