Always a very reflective time of year for me as classes wind up for the summer break but today has hit hard as I said Goodbye for the very last time 🥹.
My group of 9 pre teen girls gave me one last opportunity to instill the importance of sport and teamwork and they promised me they would always make it a part of their lives.

What a way to go out, I'm so very proud of them and of each and every child that has come through that door, stood on that 'magic line and had the courage to try.
It's not about how good we are at it, how fast we are, how big our muscles are.
It's about showing up, giving it a go and having fun in the process.

Thank you Porty, keep being sporty. It's been a blast.

What an amazing morning spent with Northfield & Willowbrae Playgroup at their annual sports day.
A huge thanks to the staff, children and parents for your support over these last few years 🤗🏃‍♀️🏅❤️

Today was Claire Bear Coaching & Fitness final Sports Day with us, and we just want to say a huge thank you for everything she has done for our playgroup over the last four years. 💛

Claire has delivered fortnightly sessions for all of our boys and girls, who absolutely adore her. Her energy, enthusiasm and kindness have made such a difference, and it has been so lovely watching the children enjoy and benefit from all of her sessions over the years.

Claire has also become such a wonderful friend to all of the staff, and we are so grateful for all of her hard work, support and dedication.

You will be hugely missed by us all, Claire — thank you for everything! 🌟

It all started 27 years ago with a bucket of tennis balls, a bag of balls, some hula hoops, some cones and a little bit of courage.
Then today I coached my last classes in the Wash House, Portobello 😢
6 weeks left of classes in our outdoor venue of Rosefield Park, while the Wash House receives an upgrade, then 'Claire the Bear' hangs up her whistle for the last time.
Life as a Postie beckons in July 📮.

To anyone that's ever sat on that 'magic line', I thank you for your excitement and I hope I helped you embrace sport and gave you a lifelong love for it ❤️

My 'Summer sun bear' sessions are available for booking this coming summer holidays.
We will be based in Rosefield park again from 22nd-24th & 29th-31st July, from 10a.m - 12:15p.m.
Prices are £18 per child, per day or £50 for any 3 days (payments will be taken before the school summer break).

Incredibly proud of my 'Grizzlies ' today 😁.
We came 6th out of 10 teams at the Towerbank Primary volleyball fundraiser and we had such a great time.
My biggest moment of pride was watching their kids idolise their Mum's out there slaying it ❤️😊🏐⛱️
