Sun rising over Ratho on the longest day of the year for the Rosebery Final.

Linlithgow v Winchburgh 2pm.

Please be mindful of any any RHS traffic and as regular visitors to our club know, parking can be challenging in the village.

Will be a great day of bowling, visitors to our club will, as ever, be given our legendary Ratho bowling club welcome.

Yesterday was the Kate and Johnny Dowling tournament.
Thank you to all the Dowling family and to Lindsey Dowling for doing the presentation.

Winner Derek Stewart, runner up Claire Cunningham
Semi finalists Frank Dowling and Guy Palmer.

Thanks to everyone who helped out on the day, special mention to the Dowling ladies who provided a fabulous buffet.

Today in the sunshine we held the John Allan memorial pairs. John was past president of our club and sadly died from Motor Neuron Disease a few years ago. This annual competition is held in his memory and to raise funds for MND Scotland.

£525 was raised today, thank you to all who generously contributed to this.

Thank you to George Booth and Louise Colquhoun who sponsored this comp and provided the buffet.

Worthy winners Claire Cunningham and Teri Campbell (go the ladies❤️). Runners up Lee Morier and Matthew McNee, all played amazing.

Congratulations to our winners, Raymond Reid and Drew Paterson, first time winners. 👏👏

Morning to all our visitors coming to our open pairs today, lovely morning.
Please bring cash for the breakfast rolls that will be getting prepped shortly.
Cash also for pies/sausage rolls for later. And the raffle.
The bar takes card payments.
Frank will already have been on the green making it even more perfect , Stan Lumsden and John Learmont (Santa) will be at the stage to take the entry money (£10 per pair)
First ties at 10am, looking forward to seeing everyone soon.
