Mixed pairs Saturday 20th June 1.30 for 2pm start. (Diane Wight Trophy).
There is a list on the gents and ladies boards, please put your name up by Thursday 18th. £2 per person with a small buffet afterwards. A spider will take place at the start.

An incredibly close game in Edinburgh Bowling Association Top Five against Dudley this afternoon saw our visitors progress with a 3 v 2 victory.

They achieved this with 21 v 20 victory on the last game on the green, with Ian Kent beating Tam Murray.

The first game off the green saw Dudley take an early lead with Andrew Sneddon winning against Phil Marshall.

Balerno then won the next two games with Ferguson McBeath and Hugh Gibson getting our points on the board.

Dudley tied it up with Grant Fraser beating David Lawson 21 v 17 with an excellent conversion when lying game against.

Thanks to everyone from Balerno who played and marked.

Congratulations to Dudley on their victory and best of luck going forward.

Our Edinburgh Bowling Association Tip Five tie against Dudley has been arranged for Sunday 7th June at 1400.

Please note the green will be shut to other games for the duration of this tie.
