We are sending you this message to apologise for the miscalculation of results for the 2025 ASKC Super Series. The matter will be fully discussed at the next meeting of the ASKC management group.
The reason that it happened is twofold. Firstly, in the interests of not wishing to be seen as too petty we allowed certain drivers to enter some events with non ASKC registered race numbers simply because that was the number that they used “down south”. That was a mistake as naturally when new numbers appeared they were deemed to new entries. We will review the rules and procedures to try to prevent similar issues in the future.
Secondly, once again we tried to announce overall results on the day. Naturally at the end of the day there were a number of judicial matters to be concluded, and time became an issue. Drivers and their families require to get away particularly as many had long journeys ahead of them. Naturally competitors want to know the results and move to awards as soon as possible but this is open to error. This will be discussed in order to plan for a better system for the future.
The corrected results have been posted on the ASKC website - https://askc.co.uk
Once again, our sincere apologies to those affected.
