A fun day today, starting with a good old dance with my friends at Capability Scotland. Then on to a ceilidh to celebrate Emiliia's 7th birthday, and for her family to say goodbye to their Edinburgh friends before moving away to London. Emiliia's wee brother kept picking flowers and presenting me with them, so I used them to adorn my speaker!

Thank you very much to all the amazing families who came for a dance yesterday at The Counting House.
We don't usually need a reason to organise a ceilidh, but this one was to coincide with a family visiting from the US. Mum Julianne asked if we had any events planned to coincide with their stay. We didn't, but we soon rustled one up...
Julianne emailed me afterwards to say 'I just wanted to say thank you again for setting this up. The girls had SO much fun and already asked when they can do it again. :) I'm sure it's something they'll always remember about this trip. ❤️
It was really nice to meet you and be a part of this today!'

Had a lovely time this afternoon leading a First Communion ceilidh for Toby and his family and friends. They were all really up for a dance and it was a great party. What do you think of my tartan adornment from the in-house face painter?

Thank you to everyone who came along to our family ceilidh today at Corstorphine Old Parish Church. When we have our New Year ceilidhs there we are used to sharing the stage with a Christmas tree, so these flowers made a very welcome change!
