ClimbScotland are looking for volunteer judges and belayers for the upcoming SYCC on Saturday 13 June at EICA Ratho! Check out their post to find out how you can get involved.

Every year, we rely on over 150 volunteer judges and around 50 volunteer belayers, from our grassroots competitions to the Scottish National Championships 🏆🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Without your help, we couldn't support our young (and less young) climbers getting on the wall, doing what they love and developing as athletes - so thank you!

Competition Coordinators (CCOs) are especially key members of our team, who lend us their years of expertise and experience to coordinate smooth running of the day. One volunteer said:

"The Scottish competition climbing scene is like one big family. Volunteering for ClimbScotland events is a rewarding way to contribute to the community and help nurture the upcoming generation of young people getting into this wonderful sport."

This Mental Health Awareness Week, we caught up with our climbing team to hear how climbing supports their mental wellbeing.

For many, it's a chance to get out of their head. It keeps the brain active, builds confidence and challenges you. Plus, it’s also social -climb with friends and find new climbing buddies!
