Soccerstarts Football Academy provide a fun football skills training programme for children Under 5 (walking to 5 years ) as well as primary school aged children. We aim to help our footballers and support them learn and develop their football skills in a fun and engaging way suitable for the age group being coached. Soccerstarts Football Academy also want to help children develop in other ways su

ch as improving their confidence and social skills, love for sport. We also want to help children improve their movement, balance, speed and other important sports related skills through our sessions as well as helping develop the next generation of little footballers.

Encouraging Children Positively ⚽

Positive encouragement from the sidelines makes a big difference to children’s confidence and enjoyment.

Simple comments from coaches ( and parents) like “well done” or “great effort” help children feel supported while they learn and develop and encourage them to be creative and make decison to dribble and beat players.

At Soccerstarts we encourage players to make their own decisions during small sided games, helping them build confidence and understanding of the game.

We will also coach where appropriate during small sided games to help children improve the in game decisons they make.

Our aim is to create a positive environment where children feel comfortable taking part and enjoying football.

One of the most rewarding things about running Soccerstarts sessions is seeing how children grow in confidence over time.
