Looking after your health isn’t always easy, but it’s one of the most valuable investments you can make in yourself.

It’s choosing movement when you’d rather stay on the sofa, nourishing your body with foods that support you, and continuing to show up even when motivation isn’t at its highest.

This journey has never been about perfection. It’s about consistency, self-respect, and making choices that align with the person you want to become.

I had a fantastic consultation this week with a new female client who I can’t wait to start with, and it reminded me of something I see time and time again: most women aren’t held back by a lack of effort.

They’re trying.

They’re working hard.

What’s often missing is the knowledge, understanding, and guidance needed to focus on the right things. When you have a clear plan and the right support, everything starts to feel more achievable.

As your health improves, so does everything around it. Your energy increases, your confidence grows, your mindset becomes stronger, and the people around you benefit from the best version of you.

You’re not just building a healthier body. You’re building resilience, confidence, and trust in yourself that you can do it.

So just keep showing up.

Small actions, repeated consistently, create lasting change.

One day at a time.

Budapest for the stag do 🍻🇭🇺

Unreal weekend away with the boys, highly recommend if you’ve never been!

Even having to be dressed up as Mr Motivator, Rod Stewart AND Nicole… it didn’t ruin any of it 😂.
The boots will be getting worn again.

Thankfully I will choose my own outfit for the wedding 😮‍💨

What’s your excuse?

Neil works shifts.
He has a full-time job.
He has 2 kids.

But in the last 10 weeks he still managed to lose 8.4kg.

You read that correctly. 8.4kg in 10 weeks.

Not because he found the perfect diet.
Not because life suddenly got easier.

Because he followed the plan, stayed accountable, and kept showing up.

Consistency beats perfection every time.

Imagine where you could be in 10 weeks if you stopped waiting for the perfect time to start.

DM “FATLOSS” to find out how.

🏆 10-Week Physique Transformation Challenge!

What an incredible 10 weeks it’s been! The effort, consistency, and determination shown by everyone who took part in this challenge has been excellent.

Here are just a few of the outstanding results that came in on the final day, making it extremely tough to choose our overall winners.

After a very close decision, we crowned Josh and Laura as this year’s overall champions! 🏆

Their dedication, discipline, and transformation truly stood out, though every participant should be proud of what they achieved.

It’s been great to work alongside such committed individuals, and we’ve loved supporting each of you throughout this journey. We can’t wait to do it all again next year and see even more amazing transformations!

Shoutout to the coaching team

Well done to everyone involved, you smashed it! 💪

Most fitness content is made for engagement, not results. More interested in how many views or likes they get on a post 🙃

Different reels, different faces with the Same old recycled, conflicting points.

“Eat every 2 hours. Actually Don’t eat after 18:33 because then that turns to fat. Have 3 big meal, or maybe have small meals but more often. Also try fasting, that’s good too” 🤯

No wonder people are Confused.

You’re probably trying to build a plan from about 200 strangers who don’t know you, don’t coach you, and don’t care if it works for you.

Fitness isn’t complicated, it never has been.
It’s the content around it making it complicated.

Lift. Eat enough protein. Sleep. Repeat for months.

But that doesn’t get views.

So you get alot of noise instead of clarity.

I now see people worrying about “rear delt detail” when they haven’t even learned how to row properly yet.

Obsessing over preacher curls before they can control a basic lat pull down 🤷🏼‍♂️

People in the gym just copying the latest isolation exercise trend from reels instead of building any real strength.

You don’t need more exercises.

You need to master the boring ones.

If you feel lost, it’s not because fitness is hard.
It’s because you’re listening to too many people.

3 years of Training Time. 13 years this year as a PT. 🤯

I’ll always remember going self-employed, literally the same week we’d just taken on our first mortgage together. So the timing probably wasn’t the “sensible” option… but if you know anything about Nic and I, you’ll understand 😂

Long hours, second-guessing everything, and constantly wondering if it would all actually work out.….but tbh, we took off way quicker than expected.

If someone had told me back then the position I’d be in now, I genuinely would’ve laughed at them. But here we are.

It’s been graft, plenty of learning curves, a fair bit of stress, and definitely a lack of sleep… which probably explains why I look about 10 years older 👴🏻 But the one thing that’s never dipped is the motivation. If anything, it’s higher now than it’s ever been.

Having the right support makes all the difference, and I’m lucky to have Nicole and Katie alongside me. Proof that with good people in your corner, anything is possible.

l done through honest graft and none of this renting Lamborghinis, posing in front of a penthouse in Dubai, and firing out the big “Are you trying to lose weight? Buy my £2,500 12-week programme” pish 😂

What started as an idea for us has turned into something We’re incredibly proud of, and it honestly feels like we’re only just getting started. There’s a real buzz about what’s coming next.

I’m pretty sure in the not-too-distant future there’s going to be some more news coming your way 👀💪🏻🎾

Here’s to the next 3 years of Training Time… and whatever comes with it 🍻

The Truth About Calories….
3 things most people still get wrong

1) “I don’t eat that much.” 🥱 lies.

You do. You just don’t count the wee bites here and there, the coffees, sauces, and that “aw that doesn’t matter” moments.

Even if you aren’t counting it, your body will be 😂

2) “I eat healthy, so I should be losing weight.”

That’s fine, you might well be choosing healthier foods but you can still gain weight on gain weight on avocados, nuts, olive oil, smoothies, and protein bars.

Healthy food is great for health. Fat loss is still a math equation.

3) The weekend drinks erase the weekday deficit 🍻

You’re in a deficit Monday to Friday… then Saturday arrives with drinks, a takeaway, and zero restraint.

A few drinks turns into 1,000+ calories fast and usually followed with some drunk food to go with it.

That “good week” gets wiped out in one night.

Blunt truth:

Stop blaming metabolism.
Stop just guessing your calorie count.

And if you actually want to lose any weight, just DM “weight loss” and I’ll be in touch.

New term. Train the movements that decide games.

Week 1 and we are back on court !

Straight into sprint testing, change of direction, and reaction work.

Laying the foundation now so the next 8 weeks turn into real speed, real control, and real performance when summer comps hit.

Time to drill it in over the coming weeks and push ourselves to the limit 💪🏻

Let’s go 🎾

Boston PB. 3:08:41.
Built on balance, not just miles.

A new marathon personal best at the Boston Marathon
3:08:41. 🏅

But this wasn’t just a time breakthrough.
It was a body breakthrough.

After recurring injuries, we started this block differently. Before a single mile was logged, he went through testing using VALD technology with the team

The data exposed clear asymmetries, where force production was lacking, how one side was overworking, and why the same niggles kept returning.

So instead of just writing a marathon plan…

We built a plan to rebalance the body first.

Strength. Control. Symmetry. Then mileage.

The result:

➡️ Previous PB: 3:10:57 at the Barcelona Marathon
➡️ New PB: 3:08:41 in Boston on a tougher course
➡️ Only ~40 seconds slower in the second half — where all the hills are

That’s not luck. That’s precision.

Sometimes the biggest gains don’t come from running more…

They come from fixing what’s stopping you from running well.

This is what happens when data, rehab, and coaching work together.

This should get Murray a place in London, and the confidence that another PB will be on the horizon very soon 💪🏻

Stay tuned for the next one !
