We had to say goodbye to our beautiful little Autumn yesterday. She was more a daemon than a cat and I’m sure her spirit will find a new home soon. Thank you for loving and looking after us these past 9 years . We will miss you so much 🍁🍂♥️💙🧡💕🪻🦋🐾🌺🌻🌼🥀

I'm looking for a full time researcher. They'll need to be able to help with my Community Care portfolio as well as regional work.

Scottish Greens have a four day week policy, so 30 hours is full time.

My mind has been so busy since preparing for my viva last week, and I’ve found myself unable to stop fixating on my anger at the rise of the far right, racism and division fuelled by trillionaires and fanned by the media. Thanks to Agatha Galina and Johanna Leroy Unesco Chair on Refugee Integration through 🧑‍🏫🗣🎭 summer school and their therapeutic workshop on Weaving Belonging: the art of care, I am slowing down this Sunday morning. I’m thoroughly enjoying the quiet meditation of weaving while drinking soothing green tea with brown rice (genmaicha) in my favourite cup given to me by my friend Coo Clayton 💛💛💛

In addition to running a community workshop to understand more about what might prevent someone in Båtsfjord from attending local social activities and clubs, I spent my time getting to know the wonderful residents and the local social and cultural infrastructure. There is so much space and beautiful design - the new school, the viewing cabins in beauty spots, the church and the creative shops were all enlightening. I imagine the dark winter months when the existing play parks are under snow must be challenging!

The sauna is finished! Well done to the Design in Context Team NTNU - Norges teknisk-naturvitenskapelige universitet Vestre Varanger Bygdevekst Paul Kerlaff. Can’t wait to come back and work with you all again and to get to know more of the wonderful people and places of Finnmark. Looking forward to seeing how the local residents of Båtsfjord make this wonderful piece of ‘common internet infrastructure’ their own.
