Saturday 4th April saw the refereed final between the top 4 in the Saturday League.

From the round robin results you see above it was a great days football, played in good spirit.

After around an amazing 20 years of trying, Owen, the captain of OMG FC, finally got his hands on a League trophy. That has to be a record of persistence and enjoying the journey, week by week, to the top 🙂⚽️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏆🍾

Next week, Week 17, is the final one in the regular season. There will be a couple of weeks of catch up matches for more footie.

Then the final play off between the leagues top 4 will take place on Saturday 4th April 2026!

MCS FC played their first game last Saturday against Limes FC and put in a respectable performance versus a respectable side 👏 😁

Note : the Club Rubrum v Joe Lobel's Army result was played 2 weeks ago. So the sides enjoyed a friendly game instead. Well done them.
