Good evening Thistlers and friends! After all the dreich, damp ,cold miserable, dark months the summer season is back tomorrow!!! Although the weather isn’t exactly spring like we can still look forward to longer days and hopefully temperatures rising along with our handicaps….but hopefully not. As captain I just want to wish all the members a good season and the same to all our friends! Awe the best and Mon the Thistle!!!!!

Evening Thistlers and friends! First medal of the new year today and it looked very ominous weather wise before we teed off but as you can see the view from the back of the 17th green it turned into a lovely winter day! Not a bad turnout and some pretty decent scoring, stand outs were Niall and Robin with very good returns!

Good evening Thistlers and friends! Dark nights are here, the leaves are falling and the mornings are getting chilly. Today saw the last final of the season finished and I’d just like to say a bit about this season. From a captains perspective I’d like to say I think it’s been a great year for the club, seeing the “young guns” making a move has been such a breath of fresh air it can only be good for the Thistle. Ali winning summer singles, Tom lifting the Thistle cup, auld man Mitchell triumphant in the B championship, Don yet again club champion and thoroughly deserved and on a personal level managing a hard earned win with ma boy in the doubles…what a year …and we get to do it again next season! Mon the Thistle!

Good evening Thistlers and friends! been a bit quiet recently, back end of summer is on the horizon and competitions drawing to a close but this weekend sees a biggy happening……annual outing and we’re off to Winterfield! Always a boozy one and a great day ou as always with the Thistle, stay tuned for updates as it happens!🤗🤗🤗

Good sunny afty Thistlers and friends! Back to business this week on the hallowed Braids turf with today being the August medal, not sure who triumphed yet but news to follow. Just wanted to thank everyone for following and liking our wee bulletins and say any gowfers out there looking to join a tight wee friendly club who play over a stunning course why not give us a shout!
