It's 'afternoon tea' day!

Someone who can't make it today arrived yesterday with a chocolate cake, a monetary donation, and a football card!

We've been asked to create an online donations link towards the girls' summer camp fees. We've gone for JustGiving as we used it successfully when the Stingrays participated in this year's Loony Dook!

The girls swam the following legs:
Millie - back
Mirren - breast
Sophie - fly
Molly - free

and posted their fastest ever time of 2.46.10, finishing 8th out of 27.

We are VERY proud parents today!

This morning's result - 8th out of 28, and they retain their title of fastest in Dumfries and Galloway!

This is a brilliant result for such a young squad - the faster teams all featured much older members - and they're all star-struck from meeting Scottish Commonwealth swimmers Jack Thorpe, Euan Inglis and Corrie Scott!

The girls swim again at 2.15pm approximately.

And the girls are in Edinburgh!

Last year they qualified for the Scottish Schools Championships as the fastest under 12 girls relay team in Dumfries and Galloway, despite the oldest of them only being 10!

They swim twice today - free-style relay this morning and medley relay this afternoon. They're on first and the school name is already on the lane boards 🙈😍

Special thanks to Stranraer Stingrays coach Mickey Bullivant who has travelled with them to ensure they are confident in where to be and when - this is their first experience of racing in 'the Co**ie' and it's a big day for them all!
