Over the holidays (what holidays 🫠) our skin found a new shade of white…and pink, hands adorned with more calluses than a CrossFit gamer and backs cracked, crooked and cooked from a whole different type of workout.

But we are a family, literally. And we got through it, as Synergy’s philosophy so proudly shines out, we got through it - together.

Though I don’t think we are ready to talk about it…or to each other for at least a few months 🫠😂

Thank you to everyone who has been so kind, so supportive and helpful over the past couple of weeks. We are so grateful for help and the offers of help 🩵

Y’know when the board looks like this… it has been a biggie 🔥

Tremendous showcase of effort, encouragement and teamwork. Huge shoutout to everyone who wakes up early on their Saturdays to come spend it…pretty much getting hammered (NOT the good kind) 😂

Now, it’s the taking part of course, BUT we gotta celebrate the big 3 who made it through some serious rep counts and some serious team pushing (or pressure 👀)

Reflecting on a year that has tested our strength, celebrated our victories and moulded us into an even stronger team - family.

Some of the toughest decisions, heartwarming hello’s and bittersweet goodbyes. It’s been a rollercoaster of emotions, challenges and happiness.

To every member and client, past and present, your journey with us is our pride and honour.

Here’s to the memories created, challenges we’ve faced and the happiness we’ve shared in 2023.

As we step into 2024, let’s continue to lift one another up (along with heavy objects), share the love, kindness and togetherness.

We are thrilled to introduce Davina, our new addition to team Synergy 🩵

Davina has over 3 years of coaching experience, catering to everyone from beginners, to seasoned athletes in strong man/woman and Olympic lifting. Including competing nationally herself. GO GURL!!!!

Davina will be offering personal training sessions and delivering classes in Synergy Edinburgh. We are super excited for the team to be growing with wonderful faces! Make sure you give her a big welcome around gym in the New Year.

With a new shiny wonderful face, comes a new shiny wonderful class!!! We will be launching a new Synergy session, coached by Davina, involving all things… drum roll… HYROX!!! More information will be released soon but keep a lil eye on this space!

20 weeks ago had a DOUBLE HIP REPLACEMENT. This week, he casually smashed out a few 100kg deads 🙌🏼

Over the last 20 weeks, G has taken all the specialist advice, he’s been doing his physio exercises, we started him back in the gym with some basic movements, then got him back in class with a few modified exercises, and this week, this is where he is 💪🏼

Trust me when I say this, for everyone coming back from an op or injury, the physical element is only a part of recovery. Having a positive mindset, being determined at the same time as being patient, trusting the specialists around you, and never comparing “where you were before”, is as important as doing the physio exercises, and G did all of this right.

If you recover right, in time, you’ll be stronger/fitter/faster than you were previously.

What an absolute legend you are G. Proud of you.

So, turns out that not only did we win UK Functional Gym of the Year, and won UK Personal Trainer of the year for the second year running in but were also awarded runners up for Regional Gym of the Year Scotland and Northern Ireland!!!

“The girls are loving their sessions and it’s made a huge difference to their game - so much so that they have secured the League and Cup double this season”

This bunch of legends started training with us in May this year and the transformation we’ve seen in their strength and conditioning and camaraderie is clear with their results on the pitch 🏆
