Heriot-Watt University Kayak Club We meet on Fridays at 6:00pm in the car park next to Oriam; our shed is attached to the brickwall.

The club is composed of paddlers at all abilities and we aim to cater for everyone, from people who have never kayaked before all the way to experienced paddlers, and to ensure a good time is had by all. Weekly practice sessions are held at Whitburn pool with expert coaching providing a good way develop new skills in the sport as well as building

upon existing skills. The session is usually followed by food and drinks in the Students Union. Trips will be held twice a month during the semester to a variety of rivers throughout Scotland catering for every skill level. ยท

We promote full participation in UK wide kayaking events including the Wet West Paddlefest and the legendary National Student Rodeo.
